Week report from Camp manager Alex Danchukov:
Last week of fishing season characterized itself as one of the best ones in this season. Number of fish this year is essentially bigger than last year and quality was also good. However, during last days weather was rather difficult, the wind was often blowing hard and brought pouring rains with. However such conditions held water level and its temperature on proper level. 123 salmon were caught during this week, 7 of them were over 20lbs, the biggest was 101cm.
This year was extremely unusual from all sides. One should notice that it's already September, but there're absolutely no signs of upcoming autumn on Kola. All trees are green and only Polar lights at night reminds us about end of summer.
Although no, here's one more autumn sign that appeared in the river - first autumn run salmon! It was caught already after the season while saying goodbye to the river at Hourglass pool.
