» General Information:
If you are willing to catch a trophy bonefish, Hawaii is the ideal destination. The size of the bonefish in Hawaii is just as good as in other destinations such as Seychelles, Cuba, Los Roques or Bahamas. Although the Hawaiian bonefish can average 6-9 pounds, over 15-pounders are also found. Sight fishing is the preferred method in Hawaii, especially when the weather conditions allow it , and the races of this amazing and powerful bonefish are unique. They are aggressive and hungry, and they usually take over 200 yards of line and backing in a single run.
In addition to large Bonefish, the inshore waters of Hawaii offer angling opportunities for a variety of other species including Milkfish, Ladyfish, Giant Trevally, Bluefin Trevally, Mahi Mahi, Billfish, among others. Our guides know the area very well; they are very friendly and well qualified professionals. Multiple hookups ( between 40 and 100 bonefish) are possible in the area. The result always depends on the anglers skills, particularly the precision when casting and the fly presentation.
