» General Information:
Wing shooting in this area of Argentina is superb! From May until end of July south Buenos Aires area, turns in a perfect place for those who love Geese and Duck hunting. The unique grounds, the water wealth, the perfect size lagoons and crop fields, turn this area into a particularly attractive habitat for the variety of aquatic animal species.
Water fowling is a very important activity in this region and our country is, without a doubt, a great choice. There are 12 common species in this area of Argentina, which is an area called the central lowlands, or wet pampas. In order of abundance you should see these ducks as they are listed below. Most all whistles, except for the Pochard which purrs, or burrs like the Canvasback. Yellow Billed Pintail, Rosy-Billed Pochard, White-Faced Whistling Duck, Fulvous Whistling Duck, Speckled Teal, Silver Teal, Red Shoveller, Southern Wigeon, Cinnamon Teal, White Cheeked Pintail, Black headed Duck, Ring Teal.
For the geese and duck hunting, that takes part in the morning hunters are placed individually or in pairs in different areas previously selected by the head guide. Every group is accompanied by a guide and each hunter by bird boy. Regarding to the goose hunt, is done the harvested crop fields, waiting in blinds. This one is a hole dig on the main harvest field where goose arrive every morning to feed. Hunters may be shooting ducks by a lagoon side from blinds located in the shallow water. Every spot will have decoys set up and every hunter will be assisted by a bird-boy whose job is to make sure the hunter's needs are catered for. Bird-boys will use typical calls.
All hunts are done from 15-minute to 90-minute drive from the lodge, depending on the date the trip is booked. Consider the goose and duck migrate, so they can find at different areas depending if it's May, June or July.

- 10.00 hs Charter flight to Bahia Blanca or Coronel Suarez - Van transportation to the lodge, accommodation and lunch - first hunt for dove shooting

The PROGRAM consist of:
- 5 nights at a first class lodge
- 10 hunts (4 full days + 2 half days)

- bird boy, bilingual head guide and transport to and from hunting locations
- Transfers IN / OUT by van from Bahia Blanca or Coronel Suarez airport

» Accommodation:
The old traditional estancia in Argentina, accommodate 10 hunters in 5 double rooms with private bath. You will also have the chance to enjoy a nice dinning-area and a specious living room with a fire place. The decoration is a typical hunting place with lot of mounts and taxidermy of typical hunting trophies of Argentina. The garden is huge, with old trees and a beautiful landscape in the horizon.

How to get there:
The ranch is located at 600 kilometers from Buenos Aires. It is accesible by private flights or with a van ride trip. Transportation and private flights can be arranged.
Waterfawl Hunting Equipment:
From May till August:
The weather is cold during the morning/evening and warm during the day. For this time of the year, in Argentina is fall / winter. Your are going to wade during the hunt.
Clothes: Boot-foot hunting waders or hiper, hunting jacket, shooting gloves for low temperatures (neoprene), leather gloves, cap (all the mention items, requires camo), Blaze hunting shirt or jacket for Perdiz Hunting, Lightweight boots for perdiz and doveshooting, a polar sweatshirt or warm jacket (the temperature decreases at night).
Other equipment: polarized sunglasses, insect repelent, sunblock SPF 40 or higher, hunting trousars, shirts and vest, set of underwear, good comfortable socks, an extra pair of sandals or sneakers.
Miscelaneous: photo camera, video camera, bateries, prescribed medicines, personal effects.
